Where did you make drawingfrom.live?

I made drawingfrom.live mostly from my bedroom in Arnhem during lockdown, but just moved so I can only share my new workstation: a cozy window spot next to a jar of tadpoles I adopted. It's been soothing to have this ambient movement next to me while working, but they are morphing into frogs quite rapidly so I will have to release them back in the pond soon...

What tools/technology did you use to make drawingfrom.live?

HTML, CSS, phpMyAdmin, CPAL/COLR font, Nestcam, some seashells and hobby clay.

Can you share some process/behind the scenes work for the website?

drawingfrom.live is a website of many firsts for me – first time using phpMyAdmin and first attempt at making a variable color font. I didn't manage the variable part so the color animation is just a CSS blend-mode hack.
